I just recently got rid of an older youtube account and I am now trying to create a new one. I created the original account before the "merge" with google and youtube and now I'm running into the problem of mobile phone verification. I do not have a phone and I think it's very frustrating that account creation requires a number now. Is there another way for me to get a new account up and running without a phone number (possibly by e-mail verification again?)
