I'm 13 and I think i need( and i want) a cellphone. 1 of my best friends got a cellphone on Saturday and that was the last person I knew that did not have a cell phone. So now everyone I know literally has a cellphone! I go to gymnastics 3 times a week and I have after school activities(club meetings). Sometimes at dance, we let out early and I sit there for 15min.-1hr. watching my friends dance.
One time i tried this: "Mom, I think it's time we talked." (she thought I was talking about sex lol) mom,"ya?" me,"I think it's time I got a cell phone." mom,"No! There is no need for 1 and your dad agrees with me!".me," ok i'm gonna act mature about this." my mom then laughed at me for 30 min. straight. I was sad.
Ugh! MY brother's and sister got their phones at age 12! But, of course they do have diff. mom so.... yeah..! ugh I really want 1! any advice?
I furgot to add this: for a month now i have been on the computer looking at cellphones on at&t.com and i've been looking at prepaid phones to easy up my parents. that is how determined I am! arrgh lol!
they also said i can't get a cell until high skool, i'm in 7th grade.
