So about 4 or 5 months ago I asked my mom for a cellphone, and she pretty much just laughed in my face. I've looked up some tricks and tips since then, but I recently just got a cat and really don't want to push my luck or have her use it against me. I don't need a really expensive phone with unlimited texting because I won't use it THAT much. I'd just really like I way to contact my mom or my friends when I'm away from the house or have a way that my friends have a possibility of reaching me if I'm at my mom's or my dad's. I know some good arguments to bring up, but like I said, I really don't want to come across as pushy, so I'm not really sure how to go about this because I'm a bit scared of how my mom will react.
