How can I convert my iTunes Library over to Windows Media Player?

I've looked everywhere for advice but it simply won't work.
Well either that or I am simply to stupid to understand.
Also when I hit F3 on WMP I have no drag down option it just searches and then fails.
I recently bought a simple MP3 player as my iPod broke.
Any help welcome, thanks.
