How can I control Spotify with my Logitech G930 wireless headset's "G buttons"?

I can control Spotify when the Logitech Control center is closed, but when I open it I can't (Play, pause, and skip track). Any of you that have this headset knows you have to have the control center open for your headset to utilize the 7.1 surround sound properly.
