I would like to share my thoughts with a professional astronomer from NASA and ask about their thoughts, too. Is it possible to contact one of them? If so, is there a particular person I should contact? Thank you.
Professional astronomers often work at Universities, even if they have grants and are therefore paid by NASA. Check out your local Universities.
If you haven't done the study, though, it's unlikely you have very interesting questions. If this is the case, i'd suggest you target a popular show. Send your questions to [email protected] where they will read them, and possibly respond on a show. This way you get a professional PhD astronomer to at least see it.
My own questions tend to come in one of two flavors. 1) it exposes some bit of my ignorance - though often ignorance shared by many, or 2) no one has a clue. Even the experts don't know everything.
