I own an older toshiba tv with an svideo input and a hp hdx premium series laptop with an nvidia geforce grafics card. I recently bought a VGA-s video adapter to hook up my tv to my laptop. The wires work fine and I get somewhat of a picture when I set the laptop to dual monitors or clone monitor. But on the tv the picture isn't nearly right. It's black and white, the picture appears about 4 times and it's fuzzy/ barely visible. I was wondering what all my settings would have tk be set to. I tried making it all a lower resolution for the tv but the closest I could get was 1028 x 800 or 900 something. Can anyone please help? I'm not computer illiterate so j cab understand most directlns you'll give me. If you have a step by step instructions site then just email it to me at [email protected]
