hi i have a creative 5.1 home theater speaker system which i would like to use for my tv.my home theater uses the 3.5mm jack which is standard for mp3 players,iphone etc but how can i connect my home theater to my tv uses the red yellow white cable which is standard for all tvs i guess.I do have a headphone jack i can connect my speaker to it but i only want to use my speakers for the tv i don't want to use the tv speakers.I dont have a amplifier i dont know if i need a amplifier from my research it seems that i need a amplifier.
