How can i make the headlights on my jeep more clear?? It is a 2002 and has foggy headlights??

They aren't necessarily dirty. They are probably oxidized. Yep even plastic will oxidize. I worked on mine with red rubbing compound. When it started to clear I switched to white polishing compound.

If you have a auto buffer the job will go faster. FYI our Walmart offers the service for about $10.00 if my memory serves me correctly. I have done it manually and with a buffer, the next time I will do it with my wallet. It is a royal pain, especially doing it manually. And if you use a buffer you need to stay off the painted surfaces. It is quit possible to rub all the paint off of a patch of metal if you rub it like you have to rub the headlight.

Stop by a collision shop and have someone take a look at it for
you. There are lots of products sold at local auto parts stores but
some of them can actually make the lens, especially the plastic
ones look much worse if it's not done correctly. Sometimes the
lens needs to be cleaned from the inside and that's when things
get even more tricky.

Good Luck on your fix..

there is a product you can buy in stores. It guarantees that it will lift off the fog of anything on your car. The best thing to do would be to go to a place like advanced auto, or the nearest auto detail-er shop, and see what they have on their shelves. I bought something last year that made the fog go away, and never come back. Ask the employees of the store, they should be able to show you the product. May God Bless.
