I just bought an SUV, and the factory speakers are not working properly. I ordered new ones from eBay, but when I removed the cover to replace them, I noticed that the speakers in the doors are in mounting brackets. Is there a way I can put the new speakers into the existing months without having to make my own or buy new ones. They seem to be riveted or welded into the brackets, I'm not sure which. Is there a way to remove the speakers without damaging the brackets? And if there is, how can I readjust those brackets to accommodate the new speakers? I'm just trying to figure out exactly how to replace them myself, since a professional job would cost hundreds. Please, HELP!!! Thanks!!
