So I've decided that the phone I really want is the w810i, but it's out of stock on cingular's website and I can't find any other place that'll upgrade a phone for a family plan line. I really don't want to pay the full $250 for the phone so is there anyway you guys know of for getting this phone w/ some kind of 2 yr contract discount. BTW, I've had my cingular/att line for 4 years w/o upgrading the phone once.

If the answer to the first question is no, do you know of any other good mp3 player phones that I can get for a discount/cheap? Should I just get the w300i from cingular (free after rebates)?

I'm not too familiar with American providers, go into a Cingular store and I'm pretty sure that you can talk to them about it and negotiate. If I were you, the W810 is a great choice and so is the W580 that is going to be released very soon, at least it is in Canada.

I just, as in last week, after much research ordered my new phone an w810 and I got it Wednesday this week from LetsTalk.com. And I was extending to another 2 yr contract. It was still a little pricey, but after the rebate it won't be too bad..still more than I planned to ever spend on a phone but cheap in comparison to things like the Apple iPhone.

Hope that helps.

I'm in Canada and just within the last week purchased the W810i from ebay.ca for $245 US.
Since it's a GSM phone I'll just drop my Rogers sim card into it and voila!....the best paygo phone out there!! :-)
