and 1 cow cost $5.00? I have been trying to figure this out all day and I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I need to buy all three animals, not just 1 of the animals.
I have to have 100 animals and I can't spend over $100. I have to spend exactly $100.

19 cows ($95)
3 chickens ($1.50)
1 goat ($3.50)

95 + 1.50 + 3.50 = $100

^_^

Edit: Oops! I didn't see the 100 animals part. I'll brb.

The way I see it you could have 100 animals for $99.50 with 87 chickens, 6 goats & 7 cows.

I don't see a way anyone could get closer. If you spend the entire $100 then you'd have 101 animals (88, 6, 7)

Your Question is wrong. It Should Be :
1. Chicken-0.50$,Goat - 3 $,Cow - 10$ , the answer will be 94 Chickens , 1 Goat and 5 Cow

2. Chicken 0.20$ , Goat - 1$ , Cow- 20$ , the answer will be : 95 Chicken , 1 Goat , 4 Cow
