I have about a month to shave off 4 seconds off my 300 meter sprint. i was and am not an athlete by any means. When I first started training a year ago i was at 65 seconds. I've been at the 55 second mark for about 2 weeks now, before that i was at 58 to 60 seconds.

Is it best to do weight training on my legs? squats, leg press, etc?

Or will it be more effective to do sprint drills - running 100m, jogging 100m, repeat x times....?

I think I do the first 100m in 16 seconds, 200m in 34 seconds, then 300m in 55... so that's 16, 18, and 21 seconds. I need help real fast. thanks.
