How can I become a model?

I've always wanted to become a model, but I don't know where I can get started. I would've loved to have gotten started when I was younger, but my mother wasn't willing to pay for any of it. I am seventeen now. I am not super skinny, I have an athletic body. Can I still become a model? If so, how can I get started?

There's lots of opportunities. I would look locally and nationally. Try websites, agencies (try calling them) etc.

Get a friend with a relatively good camera to take some black and white shots of you, then pick out the best ones, take them to a photocopy place and get them printed out in A4 size. Then, send them to all the modeling agencies you can find listings of.

Remember, where there's a will, there's a way. You can do anything you want if you really want it.
