K, so, i made a few camp friends this year in camp. thing is, I'm not exactly "close close" (well, ish) with them, but yeah, I want to be. they all gave me their numbers & they made me promise them that I'd contact them in the city (they dont go to my school). thing is, when i call them, i don't want to be awkward or anything. you know how friends talk to each other, well, i want to talk to them that way, i actually want to become close to each & every one of them. if i do end up calling them, what should i tell em? i don't want to be like "how are you?" or "how's it going?" because than it gets really awkward, ya know, because afterwards the person says "I'm good" & then the person after says "that's good". they're the popular nice girls btw, so they're faaar more social then me. basically, what should I talk about? how should I become more of a social person? I'm 15
