i just got a replacement part for my double bass drum pedals and like before, i can't do any sustained beat as they are extremely unbalanced with the left pedal much quieter and harder to push down than the right one
the right pedal i have been using for over a year, and the spring is pretty much as tight as i could get it, and it gives me good control over how fast i hit it (i can do 2 hits on one foot faster than i can it on two, just cant continuously do that on one foot)
the left pedal has two springs, one by the pedal and one by the beater, i currently have it so the one by the pedal is tight and the one by the beater is loose, but im not sure if this is the best option
so if you know anything about this, please help, and dont say 'just fiddle around with them you will find something right' (i spent 40 mins on it) or 'make the spring looser' cuz all that making it looser does is makes it even quieter and you get less response
