How can I, as an American, get financial aid to a non-accredited Canadian trade school?

I can't get a loan through any Iowa bank for school, but I could get a personal loan if I had enough colateral for a loan of that size, which I don't. I can't get federal aid because the school is foreign and non-accredited and I've also tried Sallie-Mae and Astrive. The school only takes 12 students at a time and doesn't offer any scholarships, so I'm starting to feel helpless.
