Recently my computer has been trying to run chksk on startup, saying that a disk needs to be checked for consistency, or I can press a key to skip it. If I let the chkdsk run its process, its seems fine until it gets to stage two at about 70%, then it skips right to the windows vista login screen. I can't do system restore because the computer thinks it has errors on the disk. I tried searching the internet for chkdsk not finishing on vista OS, but all I could find was a situation where it stopped checking and froze, rather than skip to login screen.
So other than that, the computer works perfectly and im using it right now. Is it going to explode someday after I skip disk check for the 10,000th time?
