How can feminists argue it's NEVER ok to hit another person?

Don't you realize how police forces work? It all comes down to the threat of physical restraint....think about it.

Of course there is self-defense

And what about mixed martial arts and boxing?? THose people make big $ getting hit! Obviously that can be a good thing. Just look at Mike Tyson!

And if someone is interfering with your right haven't they in effect forfeited their own rights?

Geeze, I asked nicely. A simple no would suffice over death threats.

I think it's okay to defend ones self if being attacked. But if the defense is so violent that it seems more like a retaliation, it crosses the line.

Why is it okay to joke about punching feminists, but if I joke about hitting your mother it is suddenly wrong? Would it be okay to hit her if she truly was a feminist? I am speaking hypothetically here. I wouldn't really hit her or anyone, unless it was to fight off an attacker and defend myself in an appropriate manner. It it just that mom's are off limits unless they happen to be feminists?

There certainly seems to be a bias going on here when it comes to what is an acceptable answer.
 
Exceptions are made for self-defense ALL THE TIME, and nobody even thinks about sports when arguing about this.

EDIT: No, I generally take "End of discussion" literally and just walk away to leave them to their own moronic devices.
