How can cons complain about Obama "overreaching" his authority, when they practically...

...have Bush a blank check? For the past couple days now--and just a few seconds ago--I've been seen questions about Obama given control of our Internet capabilities (hasn't happened yet) with a "kill switch".

According to the articles on the subject, this is in relation to Al-Qaeda's "reach" through cyberspace and the government's attempts to head off another 9/11-style "cyberattack". (Whatever that may entail.)

So how can the opposition be so *opposed* to what Obama is doing to protect this country, when it was the opposition *itself* whom told Bush after 9/11: "You can do whatever you want--to protect this country--and we'll back you 100%; no questions asked"?

Doesn't this behavior strike you as being just a tad hypocritical?

What if McCain was President and he was given this same kind of control? Would cons still complain about it then?

Or are these run-around hysterics just the end result of Obama being a Democrat and not a Republican?
