How can an image of a beetle (insect) be personalized for an artistic project.?

Here's the situation: I am making a custom set of a game, and I need to personalize certain symbols to be represented on cards for the game. One of the symbols is a beetle, and I can't think of a way to personalize it. I am making one set for myself and at least one additional set for someone else as a contest prize, so it needs to be a form of personalization that I can do for each person who gets one.
