How can a small restaurant survive given that most everybody is cutting back on

eating out? All kinds of small restaurants here in Boston have shut down altogether
or I have observed that their clientele has greatly diminished and we "ain't" even close to being out of the recession. Can they survive? Should they survive, I mean should people simply stop eating out and just horde money?
