How can a person get a .21 DUI and not serve the mandatory 10 days in jail

after being convicted? A certain female got convicted to 10 days in jail and a class U charge..Its been almost a year and they havent served their time even after being hauled in to court 5 times already for failure to serve the time..Are they paying the lawyer big bucks to stay out of jail or what? Thats not including that they owe back court cost and fines from 2 previous charges..

It would be up to the prosecution to bring the case back for a contempt proceeding - against the court's order. It most states, it is also the prosecutor that enforces collects of fines and fees. Just contact the prosecutor's office and let them know - it probably fell through the cracks.
