How can a girl confess her feelings to a guy?

Ok so I like a guy who probably has no clue I like him, he's just a friend but when I talk to him I have an extraordinary good time he makes me laugh soo hard and I make him laugh too but I really really doubt he senses my interest in him. He's also a good respectful guy kinda shy so I really don't know how to show him interest and how would he react Im just interested in him for his personality and how great we get along. Any suggestions? Oh btw were both 18 thank you
