How big of a threat is Iran really to the USA?

I don;t know if Iran is presently pursuing Nuclear arms.....the Supreme leader issued a Fatwa saying nukes are unislamic but I don't trust them.

All I know Iran has a firm Non-Offensive policy and stated it only attacks when attacked.

I also know Iran is an enemy of Al-Qaeda too, considering they have several members of Al-Qaeda imprisoned.
