I'm an 8th grader in a middle school that's public right now. So far through my 8 years I've been learning things that are useful. But I've noticed that I'm never challenged in school and teachers use almost 5% of everyday without anything hard at all. Also other kids in the school say its not that easy but not too hard. My neighbors in my street go to different schools and say they have 2 hours of homework a day. Mine only has about 1 at the most. Is this a typical American school or is the school extremely bad. On greatschools.net( official school rating website) they said the school meets and exceeds state standards by 10%. The highest in state exceeds 30%. While some don't pass it.
