Mine sucks backside. I lack the self-discipline to make my few snatched minutes here and there (away from work, the kids, etc) count. The words on the page are clumsy, inadequate descriptors of the scenes that play in my head. I know first drafts are supposed to suck, but it's all very dispiriting just the same.
