How bad does it hurt when you get your wisdom teeth pulled?

when wisdom teeth are pulled you feell nothing, because you are numbed
when the nubness wares off, it may feel a little tender , but that is it. make sure you follow instructions from the dentist. no spitting, no smoking, use no staws when drinking.
you are going to be fine, there really is nothing to it.
actually the most painful thing , will be the bill to pay for it.

Everyone's experience is different. The dentist told me I'd be unconscious for the whole thing, but I was totally aware during the procedure (I didn't care about anything, but it's worth mentioning). Didn't feel a thing during the procedure, and with the pills they gave me I didn't have anything more than mild pain afterwards.

The worst part for me was having to have gauze stuffed in my mouth to soak up the blood for the first day or so. That both felt and tasted terrible. Other than that, the pain was totally bearable.

Everyone's pain tolerance is different so you will get many answers. I had all 4 pulled under local anesthesia and found it creepy (the dentist was swearing, sweating and tugging, ugh) but not painful. Got a prescription for Percoset so didn't have much pain, but found it a drag/inconvenience for a day or two. I hope you avoid complications like dry socket and make sure you are prescribed appropriate painkillers; good luck!
