How bad can the iPhone hurt?

If the iPhone doesn't live up to expectation what will be the fall out. I'm sure we will see TONS of hate post against Apple if it doesn't work as some expect it to work.
 
even if the iphone fails they hype that surrounded it will at least get cellphone companies focused on what features make people drool over in a phone.

realistcally for what you get its not all that bad price wise.

the screen is touch and its a nice size. plus the capabilities of running you tube on a PDA is cool.

500 for the 4 gig and 600 for the 6 gig.
 
i'm going to bomb their headquarters if they start doing an ad campaign against other phone manufacturers like their ad campain against microsoft
 
yeah the hype is huge for it. but then again apple usually delivers (not an apple fan by any means, but I can admit they make good quality products). not to mention they actually listened to what people were asking for in cell phones and made it happen. I don't think people will be too disappointed.
 
it has a motion sensor, when the phone gets close to your face, the touchscreen automatically turns off, then when you bring it back away, it turns back on.
