some exchanges of money for sex? The artificial distinction between 'prostitution' and other forms of exchanging money for sex is wholly artificial, and is maintained primarily by women.
Whether it is open and direct, such as handing a prostitute cash after having sex with her or indirect such as paying for dinner and a show, or buying a house and a diamond ring, or in delayed form, paying half of his income ostensibly as 'child support' but in reality providing 'pocket money' to her for 18 years and 9 months after the event. The same underlying transactional nature exists in each of these exchanges. Sex and money are being traded.
Yet women attempt to dichotomise when characterising these events, creating false distinction between these different forms of prostitution.
How are women able to maintain the level of cognitive dissonance required to actually believe this distinction ?
