I know that snakes only need belly heat and stuff and lizards need uva/uvb lights, etc. but for my snakes i'm going to have heating pads and possibly the nocturnal lamps for the night species I will have in my collection as ball pythons, boa constrictors, and milk snakes are nocturnal animals and for the lizards, i'm going to have basking lights and a heating pad for the night to keep them warm as it gets pretty cold here in southern california, and plus my lizards are diurnal animals, but my main question is, could you use fish lights for reptiles like snakes or lizards? does it provide any heat or just light? what are the benefits for using it for a reptile? would really like to know. thanks.
