How are the new Jeep Grand Cherokees (WK) offroad?

I'm thinking of buying a 2005 Jeep GC with the Hemi. I know it's not a rock crawler, but I want to know how capable it really is offroad. I live in the mountains of Colorado and want a car that can take me almost anywhere winter or summer.
