How are corrections or misunderstandings in evolutionary science discussed in public...

Really Now?

...education or are they...? ...at all?

Some people say that Darwin didn't know what we know now, and is book "The Origin of Species" is outdated. So is that gap taught in public schools?

Plus I thought that theory of evolution infallible? Is it infallible or that peoples understanding of it (even scientists) is infallible? Why is Darwin's understanding of evolution just not good enough anymore?
So why or are those addition taught in public schools, and are the reasons how scientists came to those additions mentioned? Why or why not?
Also is it taught in public schools that Darwin was not the first one to think of evolution.

Science doesn't sit still and it isn't infallible, the followers of the discipline explore and investigate, makes mistakes and correct them. Some of the information in The Origin of Species is outdated, I don't know if that is discussed because the book isn't taught in public schools. That isn't a gap, the information is outdated because others have expounded on Darwin's original work. Darwin wrote his masterpiece of scientific insight before the discovery of genetics or DNA, both of which made a significant impact on the field of biology.
