How are the bill collectors getting my cell number? When I activated it,I didn't have to give any name/address/anything like that info. It's a prepaid straigh talk phone. I activated it,and have gotten at least one call almost every day from bill collectors!!! I haven't given it out to any dr's offices,nothing. The only people who have my cell number are people I talk to,and as I stated,I didn't have to give out any personal info when I activated it,and the calls are for me. How are they getting my number,and is this legal? Harassing someone on their cell phone over bills (half of which I've gotten NO PAPER bills at all for!!!) I've not even received paper bills for most of the stuff they're trying to get money/credit card numbers for. How did they get my number if I didn't have to list any personal info when I activated the phone,and I've not given out my number to any dr's offices or anything. The only ppl who have it are people I talk to (friends and family). I ask here because this is where I'm a regular and you ladies give great answers
