how are all drama tv shows different from eachother?

like iv watched one tree hill/the oc/than i never thought id like it but now secret life of the american teenager, all the camera angles or something lookdifferent . what makes all these drama shows different i cant tell what it is, just do they film differently or something? it just all looks diferent like the characters (i know there different actors) but sumthing about it anyone know
