well, when you get pregnant, your body puts the hcg hormone into your blood. this happens after implantation. a blood preg. test will either test for the hormone (qualitative), or specifically how much hormone you have (quantitative). In my opinion, it would be VERY difficult for the test to be incorrect, as long as the tech did the test properly. if you're thinking you might be prego, you could go ask for specifically a blood test. however, just because you're not having periods doesn't mean you're pregnant. for instance, i haven't had one since january and i'm not prego. yes, i'm having it looked into at the moment - it's not normal. i would suggest that you definitely go to the doctor, because it could be a sign of something going wrong.
