Housing and Dining Contract Release Help!?

Alright.
So I signed a contract for housing and dining at my college for Fall Semester of 2011 nearly a month ago
However, I've found that I'm capable of getting an apartment and will do everything in my will power to get one because dorm life is driving me insane (figuratively speaking). Naturally, I've talked to my friends about it (who are sort of pissed off at me, but I think I resolved that), and talked to housing and dining office asking what I needed to do. They said I just had to fill out a release form.
Well, our release forms are stupid basically. Our forms basically say that there is NO good reason you should be leaving dorm life unless you're mentally unstable, physically impaired, going to commute from your home that is more than 30 miles away from the school, or some other good reason. Not only this, but you have to have PROOF that this is true. You have to have a note from the doctor, or contract for your commuting home, or etc.
Not only that but it says in big bold letters that GETTING OR SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR APARTMENTS IS NOT A LIABLE REASON TO BE RELEASED FROM A CONTRACT.
-.- Really?

So I need some ideas to write down that you think will allow me to be released from my contract. Remember that I need papers to prove it and it has to be a good one.

Please and thank you ahead of time
It's a housing contract for a dorm, not a house. And technically, I didn't sign anything. I clicked on a room and clicked OK -.- Nothing was signed
