Well, if it wasn't awful, this movie wasn't good either. It was just standard slasher fare. Generally speaking, with these movies, you can tell who is going to get killed and who is going to survive (although there was one minor surprise in Wax). When this kind of movie has "ended," you generally know that it hasn't really ended as there is one more "shock" in store. Wax was no different, except that the real ending was tamer than most. I would not recommend buying the DVD, because there are many better horror films available. However, if there's nothing else in the video store, you might want to rent it; otherwise just wait for it to appear on TV in a few years time.
