Hotsync Problem

Having just upgraded from a T2 to a T5, I've been installing software onto my new device a bit at a time to check for instability problems. No major problems so far, but I had to uninstall one piece of software and I'm now left with a message which pops up everytime I hotsync telling me the software isn't properly installed.

Is there any way to get rid of this irritiating message short of uninstalling palm desktop and then reinstalling it and all my various conduits?

You could right click on the hotsync icon, go to custom, go to the specific software, click on it, click on change, and then change it to do nothing at the next hotsync. If I were you, I would make that a default action for the specific software you are referring to.

Thanks Carol.

Sadly I already tried this. The software in question has clearly installed something which is hooking into the hotsync process without actually appearing in the custom listing.

It would be a lot easier to know what this software might be doing if you gave us the name and URL of the software in question. The exact text of the message you're getting would also help as would a copy of your last hotsync log.
