Hotsync Manager Problems

I have my Hotsync manager set to always available, but after I'm done Hotsyncing, the application closes, making me unable to hotsync again until i reopen Hotsync manager.

This is very inconvienent, and hasn't happened before. Any ideas for a remedy?

Uninstall and then reinstall the Palm Desktop. Something has gotten hosed up in the registry and this is the easiest way to fix it.

So I reinstalled Palm Desktop, and upon reinstalling the conduits, isolated the problem down to the Avantgo client. Is the latest version that unstable, or am I simply missing something?

I've never liked Avantgo because of the continuing instability I've seen it the program. I don't know what's happening with the latest version but I've seen an upsurge in Avantgo problems so I can't help but think the latest versions has even more problems than usual.

Back in my Omnisky beta testing days, Avantgo was a definitive no for the test. It caused nothing but problems on all of my other Palm devices that I just opted to carry around the laptop if I wanted internet data.

Course now with the Treo, it's a mute point. And what's amazing to me is that I have a device that's smaller then the Omnisky modem/Palm Vx footprint and connects to live web sites at about 105,000k compared to maybe 19,200k.
