HOTMAIL HELP!!!

I have posted this problem before in other sections and many people tried to help but I still haven't found a solution. Maybe other T-Mobile users here have had the same problem and have found a solution. I have a 7290 running OS 4.1 and T-Mobile service. One of my main e-mail accounts is a Hotmail account. BBs only support POP mail for Push and Hotmail is not POP. Plus, MSN makes Hotmail a closed program that seems to only be accessible from an MSN ad-supported site. I am looking for an e-mail account that I can forward my Hotmail to that can then be Pushed to my BB(people have recommended Yahoo!/GMail/Fastmail.fm none of which do what I need), or any other solution so that I can get my Hotmail messages directly on my BB. Right now I am using MSN Mobile Alerts to get SMS notification when I get a new e-mail and then checking my mail manually through the browser and MSN's mobile site. Number one the alerts take forever to get(sometimes a few hours), so an urgent e-mail may just sit in my inbox for hours without a reply, and number two, the MSN mobile site, frankly SUCKS, in my opinion. Anyone out there have the same problem and find a solution? I will forever be in your debt. Thanks.

Hotmail as far as I know blocks forwarding to alternate account unless you upgrade to hotmail PLUS. Sucks, that's why I switched to gmail... which for free accepts forwards, pop access etc.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~Jlesh, you are certainly not alone with this issue. I too have msn as my main email account, so I have set up alerts, in addition, I have also set up emails which accepts pop. Awhile back, it used to be accepted, then they blocked it and that just plain sucked!

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I think your at this time hotmail is no good. I don't use mine at all. Yahoo and gmail get emails to my BB instantly and with no extra cost. My suggestion as painful as it might be is to change from hotmail to yahoo or gmail.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~once gmail came out. Hotmail became #2 in email.
Change your email to a gmail account and stop using hotmail unless you want to upgrade your hotmail account to do what you want it to.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~I had the exact same issue and as others said, switch to yahoo or gmail. I switched to yahoo and haven't looked back. The only headache was notifying everyone of the email change. Good luck.

People people people. Hotmail Plus will not allow you to forward your email. You can retrieve it with Outlook products and that's it. There are 3rd party apps (Getmail, Incredimail, etc.) that will forward Hotmail once it reaches your desktop. You do have to leave your pc connected, and the program running. But right now, that is the quickest way to get your Hotmail on your BB 'automatically'.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~why would you want time-sensitive urgent emails to go to a hotmail acct? Quite frankly hotmail is just another provider that sells their list of email addys to the highest bidder. I wouldn't have anything urgent sent to any free email provider, but that's just my opinion.
