me and my husband having a debate that heath is worse for people than cold. I come from very cold country where we had below 30 at times and very, very few cases existed where people died because of cold only though because they didn't have resources for their house to stay worm. VS heat where people die all the time because of heath exhaustion, cali, fl.... i also think that sun is not good for you, only 30 min a week with sun block and you get a lot less pure oxygen in florida weather because at times it is even hard to breath because it is sooo stuffy and nasty!!! he thinks that heat is better than cold lol... what do u guys think??

You argue hot and humid is worse than cold and dry. Hot hot? how humid? how cold? How dry?
I think more people die in the heat because more people of poor health are outside enjoying the weather!
Snow shoveling, icy roads and driving in blizzards are all dangerous
so is over exertion.
In the heat, over exertion, over heating and dehydration are dangerous. I think the latter are easier to control than the former.
I hate the heat. lol

I'm from northern Minnesota. Last January, it got down to 40 degrees below zero. In that weather, you could get hypothermia in less than 10 minutes. There is no equivalent to that in terms of hot weather, so I'd say cold weather is more dangerous. You also have to take into consideration that people are sicker during the colder seasons (i.e. flu season).
