When I have mine, I have them all over, it seems to start at my face and chest - then its all over my body quite literally in a flash. I was so warm I was kicking off my shoes. Then I would get cool and put them back on. I tried to have a sense of humor about it, though. Because of my hysterectomy (still got ovaries) I pretty much immediately launched into the hot flashes. It was bad for awhile (about 6 months) then they died down.Every once in in while I'll have a cluster of them and then they are gone again, quite literally for months. I don't take any hormones (yet).This may sound odd, but I kinda liked my hot flashes - they sure came in handy when the temp dropped to 30 below!
