hot flashes during ovulation?

I have been experiencing some hot flashes for a couple of mornings now...I am 21years old so I rule out menopause. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago and once I lost the weight my hormone levels went back to normal. I can feel ovulation although I'm on birth control. has anyone experienced this?
 
I had hot flashes for years before I found out that I had PCOS. With diet and medication (I was on Metformin while TTC) They seemed to stop. Now 22 weeks pregnant with my first. I have again had hot flashes during my pregnancy. All the best:)
