On the contrary, I grill mine or broil them in the oven sometimes(if desperate), and them keep them soaking in a broth of beer, onions, fresh garlic, black pepper, and garlic powder, they stay hydrated and full of moisture and I have a great hot dog, full of seasoning. I go all out when I do have hot dogs because we don't have them often, so I go with all beef, kosher brands, with no preserv/nitrates. XO!!
