Hospital is unable to diagnose

My father complained of extreme headaches and nausea this morning, to the poitn where he took off of work. He never takes off work, so he must have been feeling pretty badly. His GP had him admitted to the Winter Park hospital here in FL. After going through tests all day long they are still unable to find a problem with my father. He is in constant pain it seems, becoming nauseous and sick after eating. His stomach is HUGE! My father has a bit of a stomach to begin with but when I saw him today his stomach looks much larger than normal, even he commented on it. It seems like he is constipated and/or very gassy. I asked about it and he said he was able to "go" fine this morning. He also has a fever.

The doctor of infectious diseases said it was something to do with his stomach. Later this evening they moved him into a private room and put a warning sign on the door. They now enter with masks and gloves. I'm very freaked out at this point. I ate the same dinner as him last night, he's a chef and he cooked Chilean Sea Bass. My mother and I are fine.

So far they've done a spinal tap, 2 cat scans, an MRI, and many many blood tests. I recall hearing the nurses talk about having to reorder "ANA" tests because they sent "regular" samples in stead of the "yellow" tubes needed for the "ANA fluid" tests. I have no idea what any of that means, but it seemed like a major flaw when I heard her discussing it with the lab or whoever the nurse was talking to at the time.

Like I said, I'm scared out of my mind. My father doesn't take off work, ever. The fact that they cannot find out what it is makes me worry even more.
