Hospice whats the whole hospice thing is it comfort measure?

My grandmother had lung cancer and had it for two years she was perfectly fine jus the pain that comes along with the cancer well the first day hospice came in she was up walking eating talking and being her fiesty ole self and 2 hours later after the starting giving her the drugs they give she was in a coma state no talking or anything at all her 4 th day on hospice she passed away they say they're there for a comfort measure an I feel the overdosed her to a coma which made her pass not caring for hospice I think they drug that person as they did my granny an make them pass away sooner!!!!!!hurt and lost without y granny
