The car is a 2005 Mazda Tribute (same engine as the Ford Escape). A hose leading into the back of the engine has a small hole in it. It doesn't seem to effect performance but upon starting the car the hose makes a shuddering noise for a few minutes.
Have tried unsuccessfully to find an online manual or diagram so I can find out exactly what the hose is called. It seems like it would be quite simple to replace - I just need to know exactly what it is called.
The question has a couple of elements: Does anyone know what this hose is called? Does anyone have a diagram or a link to a diagram of the engine so I can point out the hose?
