Ok so my parents and me are going to start a horse and carriage business, giving tours over our area.
Ok so we've contacted the previous owners of the mare and she'll be on her way next week.
In the mean time were getting our old carriage ( dad used to be s carriage driving with shires and clydsdales).
Ok once we get the business running well be able to afford more horses including clysdales, shires and peracherons.
The clydsdales would pull the passengers if they wanted an over one hour ride along with the shires.
The peracherons would pull the shorter amount of time.
I own one peracheron already and his driving tack works anyway.
We've tested him several times on the road,
We've insured our yard and carriage, all we gotta do now is have permission to drive our horses with public passengers on.
Choices of routes are here for them, tell me If prices and time is ok?
On road-
20 minutes- £10 ( 10 minutes on road, 10 mins back using peracherons)
30 minutes- £20 ( 15 minutes on road 15 mins back using peracherons)
40 minutes- £ 30 (20 mins on road 20 mins back using peracherons)
1 hour- £ 50 ( 30 mins on road 30 mins back using shires and clydsdales)
Through woods
20 minutes- £10 using peracherons
30 minutes- £ 25 using peracherons
40 minutes- £35 using shires
1 hour- £55 using clydsdales
Fields
20 minutes- £10 using shires
30 minutes- £20 using shires
40 minutes- £30 using clydsdales
1 hour- £50 using clydsdales
Horses on road would be nicely dressed.
I know this will be alot of money but it will be worth it in the end.
Dad would drive the horses and answer questions on the drive and off from the passengers. Basically he would do the tours.
I would tack up and clean the horses. Also when they just arrive from a drive with people on I would help the people off and take the horse from the carriage, I would also help take bookings.
Mum would take bookings and organise things really.
Plz say if these are ok if not suggest other things plz help thx!!
