horror movie

i was told about a film a few days ago. i was told it was a banned horror movie.it either begins with the letter b or c. but for the life of me i cant think what it was called. it is not a very old film , maybe a couple of years?

If it was banned... it definitely wasn't made a couple of years ago.

You are probably thinking of Japanese movie Battle Royle (2000).This was quite acclaimed but not released in many countries due to various reasons but was not banned,very controversial movie nevertheless and influential.
